FTP Explorer makes you more productive because it works in the background to accomplish the tasks it’s assigned. Files can be uploaded and downloaded, even from multiple servers, while you continue to work. FTP Explorer knows when its work is finished on each server and will even log off without your intervention. And, if a server is busy, the program will continue to attempt to connect for as long as you want.

FTP Explorer can be configured to automatically download a sites “index” file and display any file descriptions it detects. Or, if you prefer, it can download multiple files and their descriptions so you know which file is which. This saves you both time and money and makes you more productive. FTP Explorer also offers the ability to resume broken downloads from severs that support this features. If the program detects a file name already in the current download directory it will restart the file transfer right where it left off, and that also saves time and money.

FTP Explorer has a “Transfer Manager” that gives you the status of each file transfer. The Transfer Manager can handle multiple connections, uploads and downloads, and always keeps you right on track. The program also features an “Intelligent Command Queue” so you never have to wait for one command to complete before you can issue the next one. Give the program multiple commands without waiting and those commands will run in the order you issued them. The program also caches directory listings and other data so your wait time is vastly decreased.

FTP Explorer will run under Windows 98, 2000, NT, and Windows XP. It requires 10KB of RAM and 2.0MB of free hard disk space.
