Software Turns Analog Media To Digital- No Need To Buy Extra Software or Equipment!

(October 7, 2004)Digitope announces the release of Media Digitalizer, a program for the Windows operating system that quickly and easily records analog media into a wide range of audio file formats.

Media Digitalizer features an easy-to-use interface, including a full help system and tutorial. Media Digitalizer creates WMAs, MP3s, Wave files, TunePaks, and audio CDs from LPs, cassettes, or other analog media. With Media Digitalizer, all components are integrated, with no need to use separate applications for recording, editing, and encoding. The user can even make more than one type of media from a single recording.

Media Digitalizer features include fully adjustable recording times, both automatic and manual track detection for any recording, the ability to combine multiple recordings onto one CD, and the ability to spread recording over 60 minutes over several CDs. Media Digitalizer also includes support for two sided media, so the user can record both sides in a single recording.

Media Digitalizer includes integrated support for both WMA and MP3 formats, support for MP3 ID3 tags, including formats 1 & 2, and support for advanced MP3 encoding options. It can also export uncompressed Wave files for optimum quality when editing further or encoding in an unsupported format.

Media Digitalizer has fully adjustable CD burning speeds, from 1x up to user’s drive maximum. Media Digitalizer also supports all CD sizes, including Micro CDs.

System requirements

Media Digitalizer will run under Windows 98, ME, Windows 2000 and XP. It requires 128MB of RAM and 6MB of free hard disk space. The program can use over 1 gigabyte of disk space for temporary files.

Availability

Media Digitalizer is available for $25.00 from the Digitope Web site at http://www.digitope.com/digitalizer. A 10-day/12-use trial version is also available from the Web site.
