Beyond FTP version 3.0 has an interface that has been totally revised. This interface allows the use of “skins” so users can give the program the “look” that they want. Utilizing an “explorer-like” interface, the program allows users to initiate file transfers using drag and drop. Using Beyond FTP, remote file systems are shown as servers and assigned drive letters. Utilizing a classic tree structure makes the program very intuitive.

Beyond FTP 3.0 operates in both a client-server mode, interfacing with FTP servers, and in a peer-to-peer mode, which has Beyond FTP servers on both sides of a file transfer. The powerful yet easy-to-use interface allows users to delete files, rename files, create directories, and gives them total control over the file transfer process. The script language is simple yet powerful, with over 100 templates containing pre-programmed scripts that can be tailored to a user’s particular environment. The script engine, with its integrated scheduler allows users to completely automate their mission critical business processes.

Beyond FTP is extremely reliable and totally secure, supporting SSL, TLS, PCT and AES with up to 256bit encryption. Data security is guaranteed by the encryption of all network and file traffic. Beyond FTP automatically restarts failed file transfers at the point of failure so no time is wasted. The program even allows for complete remote administration, including the remote execution of scripts.

Beyond FTP will run under Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows 2003 Server. It also supports Windows NT 4.0. It requires 32MB of RAM and 10MB of free hard disk space.
